In front of Angkor Wat, one of the world's greatest achievements, we seem to be so tiny. Drops of the sunlight piece the ancient walls and bring people from the modern life back to the Empire of Kingdom Champa as well.

Emerging from a violent past of human rights atrocities, war and political instability, Cambodia is recovering from its past and slowly becoming a top destination on the South East Asian travel map. Travellers to Cambodia can now enjoy many wonderful aspects of this country. Pleasurable moments can be had in the snatches of friendly conversations, in the tranquillity ushered in by Buddhist prayer or in the sounds of workers in the rice paddies. One can also search for the charms of the French-era capital city Phnom Penh, visit the tragic horrors of the Killing Fields or drift past sleepy riverside locations on a boat.

If looking for a relaxation on beach, we can take a bus to Sihanouk Ville, the only maritime port of Cambodia where we also can explore the south coast and nearby Ream National Park.
How else to explain the exotic tremendous splendor of the 9th- to 13th-century Khmer temples, the lively Apsara dances, the tropical islands with barely a beach hut in sight and the untold adventures lurking in northern forests? All only can be explained by your own experience.

Located in the south-east Asia between Thailand and Vietnam, Cambodia nowadays is
administered by the Royal Government of Cambodia after an internationally supervised election in
1993 and totally safe to welcome tourists all over the world return.

Cambodia is a beautiful country with two main cities: the capital, Phnom Penh and Siem Reap.
National Museum in Phnom Penh, a bustling city with fine colonial architecture,
is the best place to see examples of Khmer sculpture. Siem Reap is primarily the base
from which to explore the majestic temples of Angkor and Angkorian-era architecture.
In 1992, Angkor Wat was declared as a World Heritage Site by Unesco.

When to go?

The best time to visit Cambodia is from December to January when humidity is bearable, temperatures are cooler and it's unlikely to rain. From early February, temperatures start to rise until the hottest month of April, when temperatures often exceed 40°C (104°F). The wet season starts from May until Oct, when the southwestern monsoon brings rain and high humidity. Though being very soggy, this period can also be a good time to visit Angkor as the moats will be full and the foliage lush - but steer clear of the northeast regions during those months, as the going gets pretty tough when the tracks are waterlogged.

What to do?

The temples of Angkor literally rise out of the jungle and attract people to explore the Angkorian-era architecture. The National Museum in Phnom Penh, a bustling city with fine colonial architecture, is the best place to see examples of Khmer sculpture, especially the beautifully depicted Hindu deities. Hill tribes around Banlung, the unspoilt countryside around sleepy Sen Monorom and Battambang are also worth seeing for adventurers. For those looking for relaxation, Sihanoukville with its lovely sandy beaches and laid-back lifestyle is a promising destination.

Being one of the most charming capital cities in Asia where past, present and future are all bended so well in one single place, Hanoi truly deserves a several days stay. And, make sure you go these places to have best experience of Vietnam's capital city.

1. Ho Chi Minh complex, visiting his Mausoleum, the Presidential Palace and his old houses. The Mausoleum is where the body of the greatest president of Vietnam is kept in a glass coffin. The Presidential Palace is a beautiful French building that was originally built for the French General Governor of Indochina, later on Ho Chi Minh worked in the building.

2. One pillar pagoda: Built in the 11th century as a memorial to the Goddess of Mercy. The whole pagoda stands on a column
3. The temple of Literature: the once biggest education center of Vietnam and also the most beautiful temple in the country dedicated to Confucius- the founder of Confucianism.

4. Museum of Ethnology: Biggest one in town displaying exhibits and lives of 54 groups of people living in Vietnam

5. Old Quarter: Trading part of the city, most populated and flourish place in town. Thousands of tiny shops selling cheap things. Ideal to look for clothes, fake watches, fake Lacoste T-shirt and nice painting galleries. Every last 3 evening of the week, part of the Old Quarter is only for the pedestrians (traffic is banned). Local shops are the set up in the middle of the daytime-busy streets to sell local thing. Pretty good for going out having a look. Watch your language once you're here, just to be on the safe side.

6. Ngoc Son temple: A nice little temple dedicated to one of the 10 best generals in war history. The temple was built in the 18 century. Make sure you see a turtle (maintained in a glass coffin) to the small roof next to the temple, which used to be living in the water of the lake.

8. Cheap clothes and watches: Go to Hang Dao street (near the Sword Lake). This is where you can find a 4$ Lacost T-shirts or a 3$ Swiss watch. I'm sure they're not really bad comparing to a the genuin.

9. For a traffic experience? Spend around 3-4$/hour renting a cyclo, you will be cycled around the Old Quarter, be a part of the amazing traffic. After that, first thing you're gonna say is: I have survived.

10. Wanna taste a bit of the local culture? Go to cafe Lam (91 Nguyen Huu Huan street) where you taste nice Vietnamese coffee, but seeing the local is more interesting for those who expect)

Good time to travel in Vietnam is from September to June. However, Vietnam has three different regions – the North, the Central and the South – each with different weather patterns and different rainy seasons. This means that there is neither a best time nor a worst time to visit Vietnam. Hot summer or cold winter is not that a big deal. Beaches such as Halong bay, Hoi an, Nha trang, Mui ne - Phan thiet, Phu quoc are always available. Sapa and Dalat highland offer great places for cool temperature. You can find your favourite kind of weather all year round!

Belows are some tips we think might help you make decision well:
For people who are interested in Vietnam adventure tours, sapa tours are first choices. For those who have tight schedule, take Vietnam optional tours with short tours at some famous tourist sites. For those who would like to experience the whole Vietnam, from the north to the south or vice verse, take Vietnam package tours which will show you Vietnam in close up. After the long trip, may be you take some relaxation at Vietnam Beach Vacation. There are some beautiful beaches in Vietnam with deluxe accommodation such as hotels in Catba, hotels in Hoian, hotels in Nha Trang, hotels in Muine Phan Thiet, hotels in Phu Quoc... Especially, you can stay at luxury hotels in Saigon or hotels in Hanoi with the famous names such as Sofitel Metropole, Caravelle...
Regarding Central Vietnam Tours, there many options for your consideration. But first just have a look at these ones: 7 days vietnam classic tour; DMZ tour; Vacation in Danang beach; Vietnam Legend tour...
Regading South Vietnam tours, you are suggested to take Mekong delta tours, tours to Can Tho...
