| In the southern part of Finland is where you will want to base, in particular, in the city of Turku. Three of the most popular castles in in the region are Turku Castle, Olavinlinna Castle and Kuusisto Castle. All of these castles are open to the public for tours. I think Turku Castle has to be one of the best in Finland since you can also catch some great Medieval reenactments. By the way, did you know you can spend a night in a Finland Castle besides seeing it. For this, you'll need to head to the northern Lapland town of Kemi. There, you'll find the Snow Castle where you can spend a night in. |
