visiting Oulu

hiya, we'll be visiting Oulu in 2 weeks time and wanted to visit as much as possible as we'll be touring most of Finland so wont have much time there. What places you recommend seeing?

hi there,

There are many museums in Finland such as the City Art Museum where you can get an English guided tour of the museum and it is a great place to see some lovely art.

If you have kids then, consider the Tietomaa science center. It boasts over 150 exhibits and an also oft-changing range of overall exhibitions. Kids will have the chance to enjoy hands-on activities at Tietomaa. Also, you can get great amazing views of the city from the top of the tower of the center, which is accessed through an elevator.

Also, check out some of the city parks and outdoors areas such as the Botanical Gardens and Hupisaaret Park.
