travel to Tampere for culture

hello,

One of the reasons we're traveling to Finland is for culture events. Has anyone travel to Tampere for culture events and what can you suggest?

Some of the best cultural events in Finland actually take place in Tampere so it's a great place to be for culture events.

Among culture events you have the:

- The Tampere Film Festival

Held in March, the Tampere Film Festival is one of Europe’s featured short film festivals, and it’s also the oldest festival of its kind in all of Scandinavia

- The Tampere Theatre Festival.

The Tampere Theatre Festival takes place in August and is quite the international event

Just remember to book your room at one of the Tampere hotels in advance if you plan to travel to Tampere during these two featured events.

If you travel to Tampere in the summertime (July) you can also visit "Tammerfest". It's a huge festival outdoors with live music and culture.
