| we'll be two weeks in Finland next month and i intend to enjoy some fishing...is there any requirements i should be aware of for fishing in Finland? thanks |

| hi there, Yes there is. You must get a license or a "fishing card," which is not expensive, and you can buy a seven days permit at any Finnish bank or post office. Once you have obtained your Finland fishing card, you will also have to purchase a separate local permit for the waters that you intend to fish. Some of the Finnish fishing sites are privately-owned, while others fall under the domain of the Forest and Park Service. If you’re not sure what exactly is required of you when looking to go fishing in Finland, it’s always a good idea to inquire at a local shops.
