cheap holidays in Finland

I want to travel to Finland and im looking at ways of saving money as everything seems very expensive there. can u advise on ways for cheap holidays in Finland?

I agree with Travadvice360, it's a lot cheaper to rent a cabin than to stay in a hotel. That way you can buy your food at the supermarket and cook yourself. If you're staying in cities, a hostel is always a good way to go. Camping is also quite common in Finland.

Actually best way save money is not avoid peak season.. In peak season (summer) go camping areas with own tent, and it's legal in Finland camping out of camping areas. So you can go camping free in nature, where ever you can find nice camping place. Just remember use brains choosing camping ground, don't disturb land owners & people living nearby etc..
