Default old fashioned Christmas vacation with family

I live in South Florida and I have never seen or been in the snow. Can you believe that? This Christmas I'd like to take my two young kids and the rest of our family somewhere where it snows and where the old christmas spirit is still alive!

Please help! Im clueless as to were to go. Thanks everyone!

I can think of a few places for an old fashioned Christmas vacation with the family. If you can afford it, Finland and Germany are great places to spend the Christmas.

In Finland, you can stay at the Santa Claus's Village, see father Christmas and take a reindeer ride. Germany is also great because of the old fashioned Christmas markets filled with delicious foods like cakes and mulled wine.

Otherwise, Lake Tahoe Nevada, Asheville in South Carolina and Vermont are other cheaper alternatives and it snows lots in those places too.

You might want to go up north to Ontario. The snow there is quite plentiful during the Christmas seasons. And if you want to go abroad, then Finland would indeed be a good idea.
