Florida

From Ft. Lauderdale to Key West there's fun in the sun for everyone in Florida! Enjoy activities like jet-boating in the Everglades, Miami Night Clubs, and theme shopping. For families or people who just enjoy marine wildlife should visit Seaworld in Orlando. With the Atlantic Ocean on the East and the Gulf of Mexico on the West there are many beaches to relax and enjoy the sun.

Default Florida for Retirees

I have noticed most of the posts in this topic are about destinations better suited for younger people. I was wondering if there were any other senior citizens on the forum who could recommend some fun places for seniors to go. Keep in mind I am not looking for a trailer park, I did that once, and that was more than enough. Rather I am looking for destinations that are better suited to an adult/older adult crowd.

Default Re: Florida for Retirees

I was just reading through the posts and saw that someone recommended St Augustine. I looked it up on Wikipedia and its the oldest city in the continental United States. It seems like there is a lot of interesting things to see and do there. Would probably be boring for children, but fascinating for history buffs like myself.
