Florida From Ft. Lauderdale to Key West there's fun in the sun for everyone in Florida! Enjoy activities like jet-boating in the Everglades, Miami Night Clubs, and theme shopping. For families or people who just enjoy marine wildlife should visit Seaworld in Orlando. With the Atlantic Ocean on the East and the Gulf of Mexico on the West there are many beaches to relax and enjoy the sun.

My family is going to Miami for the first time. We would like to go to the beach and would like to have soe information about the parking down there. How much, good spots for families, best time to go, and things like that. We have a daughter 19 and two boys 9 & 12. Can anyone shed somme light on this topic? Thanks :)

Hi, I found Miami Beaches Parking offers great facilities on operating 64 surface parking lots. 63 of them are installed with parking meters. They charge you around $0.25 for every 30 minutes. Florida has milder climate throughout the year and it can be visited anytime of the year. However, if you want to avoid crowd, never plan your trip during season time like vacations or special occasions. There are great destinations you should never miss including Disney World and plenty of coastlines with wonderful beaches. Visiting these places, I never felt like coming back.

There are metered lots at 72nd, 64th, 53rd, 46th, 35th, and 21st Streets, all have restrooms and showers (except 35th.) There is a municipal garage at 42nd street. As for the family head to North Shore Open State Park (metered street parking) between 79th and 83rd streets. This area is more "Family" friendly than the areas between 1st and 74th streets. Have fun.
