|  Ft Lauderdale to Miami Can someone tell me how long of a drive it is from Ft Lauderale to Miami? i'm trying to schedule a trip and the air fare is cheaper to fly into FtLauderale. |

 | Re: Ft Lauderdale to Miami FLL to MIA is about 30-45 minutes in good traffic and 45-60 minutes in heavy traffic. That is airport to airport. A little longer if planning to go from FLL to the Miami beach area. |

| Re: Ft Lauderdale to Miami That's really not a bad drive. With only an hour's difference, I would pick based on price. I really want to visit Jungle Island, home to lemurs and some amazing critters, but I haven't made it to Miami yet. You can take a behind-the-scenes tour and even play with the lemurs. I am a grown woman, but that sounds like a lot of fun. |

| Re: Ft Lauderdale to Miami Coral Castle is truly a monument to the uniqueness of Miami! This attractions was built by a Latvian-born Miami resident named Ed Leedskalnin as a monument to his lover. After 28 years of effort, he introduced his 1100-ton coral creation to the world. It's a bit of a trip from downtown, but well worth the time. |

| Re: Ft Lauderdale to Miami Coral Castle is both a love story and an engineering mystery! Ed built it for his promised bride, but she never showed up and never saw the monument. Ed, too, was a very tiny man, and often worked under darkness. No one is quite sure how he pulled it off. |
