|  New Year's Eve at The Pier in St Petersburg The last time I watched fireworks in St Pete, it was along the beach from a hotel balcony. This year, the annual fireworks celebration at The Pier is at the top of my list. The fireworks show begins at midnight and there's not a bad seat in the house. For pre-fireworks celebrations, trendy Cha Cha Coconuts is taking reservations for dinner, limited bar, champagne, and live music throughout the evening leading up to the magic hour. At the upscale, world-class Columbia Restaurant, reservations are being accepted for their New Year's bash featuring a 5-course prix fixe meal. The Pier has the best views with fireworks over the water and both restaurants serve delicious food and have perfect views of the bay.

| First Night St. Pete 2011 The Pier will also be part of "FirstKids" and will have mask making, hat making and a ventriloquist from Razzmatazz Entertainment on the Third Floor and the Musical Petting Zoo in the Dockside Activity Room from 5pm to 8pm. After that, the plan is for everyone to head to downtown for the Kid's Fireworks at 9pm. I should mention also that these activities are only available when purchasing a First Night button, which are on sale at The Pier. |

| "Shotgun Justice"! performing at The Pier can't wait for the annual fireworks celebration at the Pier myself! I heard that The Pier will have "Shotgun Justice"! performing in the Courtyard by the Bay. You may remember these group from the July 4th celebrations so, it's cool they are available to bring in the New Year also. They will perform from 9pm. until 1am. |

| Re: New Year's Eve at The Pier in St Petersburg Yes! according to the official Pier page, Shotgun Justice, will in fact, being doing "justice" to the night with their own musical fireworks!
