Florida

From Ft. Lauderdale to Key West there's fun in the sun for everyone in Florida! Enjoy activities like jet-boating in the Everglades, Miami Night Clubs, and theme shopping. For families or people who just enjoy marine wildlife should visit Seaworld in Orlando. With the Atlantic Ocean on the East and the Gulf of Mexico on the West there are many beaches to relax and enjoy the sun.

Default The Nations Oldest City

Which is Saint Augustine, It is a great old historic town, it has alot of sights to see plus a few near by beaches and 2+ acclaimed haunted spots, like the Lighthouse and Scarlett Ohara's Bar.

The town keeps up the old downtown historic area pretty well, and during the summer and christmas holiday it is very busy! I highly recommend it.

We have been here as well, and one thing you should do is take plenty of money with you if you plan on seeing the best it has to offer. The rates where cheap, but it was tons of things to see and do.The cost was anywhere from .50 per person up to $10.00 per person.

My wife and I (and our crew of kids ^_^) plan on visiting St. Augustine next summer and are doing some advance planning. And advice on a place to stay? We're looking at some homes but I'm hoping someone has perhaps stayed there before? We got burned last year with a poor quality rental and I want to be sure. Thanks!!

Is it really the nation's oldest city or do they just call it that? Why?
