Miami new year

Hello,

I was hoping you could help me. Me, my girlfriend and my dad arrive in miami beach Jan 1st after 6 days in new york. we are then spending 9 days in miami before flying home to the UK. Could any one help with the following:

-my dad loves on shore fishing. Does anyone know where we can do this?

-we love our sport and seen jan 1st is the orange bowl. I dont know much about this. We are watching the heat and the panthers. But would this college football be worth it also?

And any ideas for our itenary would be greatly appreciated. Anything associated with animals especially for my dad!

In the winter and spring we fish the canals of the Everglades. As the lack of rain lowers the water levels fish begin to congregate in the canals. When this happens banner days are in the forecast. Large Mouth Bass are targeted with soft-plastics and top water lures. In the summer and fall Peacock Bass get the call. These brilliantly colored, aggressive game fish can really put on a show. Even on windy days this area is very comfortable and easily accessed from Miami or Fort Lauderdale.
