| We are planning a vacation this summer with 2 other couples and was looking for a house somewhere in the panhandle of Florida are maybe a little futher. We are not sure of what beaches are nice and kid friendly. It will be 3 couples with kids ages 10 and younger. We were looking for a house with a private pool and not too far from the beach. We were planning on going in July so we wanted to rent something soon. I would appreciate any feedback we can get with a great area to stay are if you have any suggestion on a house rental. Thanks in advance. |

| Hi there, I found for you a place in Cape San Blas which is in the Gulf Coast of Florida Panhandle (click link for map of the place). The actual rental place is in Barrier Dunes which is a gated, gulf side neighborhood located next to St. Joseph State Park. It features two pools, tennis courts, etc. and it is also pet friendly. Hope this helps VacationBuddy

| Thanks Vacation Buddy, but I was looking more for a house with a private pool near a beach. Something that we can sit outside in the evening time and still let the kids swim while we sit down and relax. The house does not need to be on the beach but near the beach like walking distance. Looking for something maybe with a yard that the kids could also play in. But thanks again for the information. |

| Florida’s western Panhandle is home to some of the finest beaches in the United States. The only elevation to speak of in the entire state is here, as are the state’s only caverns and some of the best canoeing around. The north central area of the state is home to the state’s capital, Tallahassee, with a number of fine museums, as well as to the famous Suwannee River. Opportunities for fishing, cave diving, and indoctrination in Southern small-town culture abound. |
