Florida

From Ft. Lauderdale to Key West there's fun in the sun for everyone in Florida! Enjoy activities like jet-boating in the Everglades, Miami Night Clubs, and theme shopping. For families or people who just enjoy marine wildlife should visit Seaworld in Orlando. With the Atlantic Ocean on the East and the Gulf of Mexico on the West there are many beaches to relax and enjoy the sun.

My daughter does not break until the 22 and they don't return to school until January 6th. Most of the schools don't go back until the week after New Years. We live in the central orlando area.

It all depends on the school district; they set their own winter break dates. My kids are all outta school now but I remember they'd usually stay in session until the friday before xmas (unless xmas was on a saturday or something), so I'd guess most districts' last day was the 22nd and they'd go back on Monday the 8th.
