Vacation 2010 Help

Hello all, my wife and I are beginning plans for a florida vacation next year. We would like to spend a week down there will no planned thrills.

We would like to spend our time in a hut on a beach snorkeling and displaying our rotund pasty bodies. We do not want to stay in a hotel or a motel, just something primitive.

My wife would like a toilet with shower & a guard with a gator-go-away stick, but I don't share her demands. we don't have a geographic location in mind so anywhere that fits in the state would work.

If you are looking for a more low-key and affordable Florida beach vacations, head to the beaches of Orlando. Orlando Florida beaches offer clean water and sea shores that are ideally suited for relaxing on the beach. Many of the beach parks have shower facilities, picnic grounds, and playgrounds.

What you describe will be near impossible to obtain unless you "camp" or tent at or near one of the beaches and most likely you will find yourself in the Florida Keys.

However, some beachfront motels, especially for divers, have 1-star, low rates.

Snorkeling along either the Gulf or Atlantic coasts is also improbable during most of the year and limited compared to what you will find in the keys.

Search Looe Key in the Florida Keys for your criteria and you will probably find something closest to your needs.
