cheapest way to get around in Lyon

hiya guys,

Would you recommend car hire in the city of Lyon and is it the cheapest way to get around in Lyon at all? If not, is it expensive to rent a car in the city?

hello there,

If you make your reservations in advance of your trip, it is not altogether inexpensive to hire a car at the airport but I'd suggest booking the car in the city rather than the airport to save money. Also, do remember you have to be over 20 years of age!

In all, there is no really a cheapest way to get around in Lyon because it all depends on what you're planning to do. For instance, if you want to explore the area around and do day trips, car rental will be cheaper overall than using trains, buses, etc; every day.
