Has anyone been to the Festival of Lights in Lyon before and is it about and what do people do? also, when is it held? :)

The Festival of Lights in Lyon is one of the biggest events in Lyon prior Christmas and it's normally held for three days in early December.

One of the highlights of the Festival of Lights in Lyon is the fireworks display at the Basilica of Fourviere. The Place Louis Pradel is transformed into an interesting botanical garden that features wild plants made of plastic and metal, and lit up in a variety of amazing ways.

If you've never been to it, I highly recommend as it is truly an ideal time for anyone to travel to Lyon and experience the very best of the city.
