cheap accommodation place in central Paris

first i wanted to ask..does Paris have bed and breakfasts or many hostels to choose from? if not, what about cheap hotels? we just want to spend a couple days in Paris to see the most important sights so, we want something cheap and cheerful. Any suggestions?

Paris is an expensive city, but you'll find plenty of cheap hotels, hostels and Bed & Breakfasts even in central Paris, but you usually have to book way far in advance before you travel, as they fill up all the time.

Hosteling is the best way to go to save money in Paris, and you can find hostels for $10-30 a night dorm style in the Latin Quarter such as the Grand Hotel du Progres. There are also many cheap hotels in Paris such as the Hotel de la Bretonnerie, in the heart of Marais and the Familia Hotel overlooking the Nortre Dame.

Hostelling is indeed your best bet, I suppose. And many of the hostelling booking sites have guesthouses and other options as well. You may also have a look at fusac[dot]fr which has info for expats on Paris. There may be something there, but they are usually more long-term rental focused.

good fro stay there together with baby....
