|  French Alps what is there to do in the French Alps besides skiing? any other fun activities for an outdoor enthusiast like me? |

| Re: French Alps It depends when you travel to the French Alps. Skiing is obviously what most come to do but during the warm months of summer and spring you can enjoy other activities like hiking, climbing, water sports, visiting the towns, camping and mountain biking. The town of Grenoble is worth checking out because of the beautiful old part of town and Fort de la Bastille, where you can get amazing views. If you're into water sports, the town of Annecy is located by lake of Lac d’Annecy where you can enjoy many water sports like jet-skiing and swimming. Anyway, this is what you can do but there are loads more.. anybody else has more ideas on things to do in the French Alps or places to go? |
