Hi I am planning to make a trip to Europe sometime in July. I will land in Paris then to Brussels for my meeting. I wish to then travel to the French Alps for a few days. I am wondering what is the most economical way to get from Brussels to French ALps and how long the journey will take. Any recommendation for accommodation will also be most appreciated. Kind regards

Train is probably the best way to go. Check out RailEurope and get some quotes. I'm not sure exactly where in the French Alps you were thinking of going, but I did a quote for Brussels to Aime La Plagne and that trip is about 6.5 hours. Let us know where abouts in the Alps you were thinking of going and maybe we can find some nice accommodations too. Good luck!

HI Thanks. I will do that. Well, we are a group of 2 couples in our late 40's and generally not decided on exactly where in the French alps to go to. We are open to recommendations - (including accommodation and we would prefer a 2 bedroom apartment) somewhere where the climate is cool and convenient to access.
