| France Great food and wine are just some of what France has in store. Prior to 1930, the Eiffel Tower stood as the tallest structure in the world and is the icon of Paris. Housing some of the most spectacular works of art is the Louvre with over 35,000 pieces. For more culture visit the Palace of Versailles but for outdoor activities, every July the Tour de France runs through the country. |

| My daughter and I will be travelling from Spain to France and want to know the best way to travel, car vs. train? If car is the way to go any good places to rent from? If train do we but the passes here in the States or in Spain? We will only be in those 2 places for 5 or 6days We want to stay on the east side of France and then slide over to Paris. Thanks for any help you can give to two novice travellers. I'm reading some of the past posts and they do help a bit. |
