is the Catacombs of Paris Museum worth a visit, what can i expect and where are they actually located?

hi there,

The Paris Catacombs are a massive network of tunnels but the actual burial grounds constitute only a small section of the museum.

Once you get there, you'll be greeted by an ancient sculpture and a model of the French Port-Mahon fortress, which was created by an inspector when the quarry was still in existence.

The Catacombs were recently renovated using tombstones, cemetery sculptures, and the existing bones, and each chamber housing the bones of the dead is set up in beautiful patterns, from hearts to pillars.

The Catacombs of Paris Museum is located in the 14th arrondissement, near the Montparnasse neighborhood, and is well worth a visit during any trip to the city
