|  Re: campsites in Georgia The north Georgia is great for camping out during the summer months, as weather is cooler. For instance, outside the larger cities of Gainesville and Athens, there are about 20 campsites and some are right on the beach, such as Traveler"s Rest, Tugaloo, and Hart. Wherever you go, there are some general rules for camping reservations in Georgia like a two-night minimum required for weekend reservations, check-in between 1 p.m. and 10 p.m., and check-out before 1 p.m. |
