| Hello, my husband and I, who are in our early 30's are planning a 14 days trip to Georgia. Can anyone recommend good tour operators for Georgia Tourism with accommodation for reasonable prices? Any good locations that we should not miss? Please respond if anyone knows anything about Georgia Tourism? |

| Searching online for Georgia tourism is the best way to compare the quality of accommodation and the prices. When I and my friend went to Georgia last year, we stayed in Atlanta Marriot and Renaissance hotel and this we decided only after making a long hunt online. So, catching up the right deal is important. There are excellent places that you deserve to see such as Stone Mountain where we chose climbing the mountain instead of using cable car to see the images of Robert E Lee, Thomas stonewall Jackson and Jefferson Davis. Another attraction that we are impressed is the High Museum of Art, which I was surprised to see the building itself enameled in porcelain. These two places I enjoyed very much, so I hope you’ll enjoy it too! |

| There is so much to do when it comes to Georgia vacation ideas. If you plan to spend time in Atlanta, visit the Underground, Atlanta Zoo, Stone Mountain and the Centennial Park area. North of the city is Lake Lanier and the North Georgia mountains with plenty of state parks, hiking trails, whitewater rafting, and annual festivals. Pan for gold in Dahlonega or hike up to the top of Amicacola Falls for magnificent views of the Blue Ridge Mountains. The Alpine city of Helen is a must and a favorite location for October festivities. Of course, Six Flags is a day adventure unto itself. To the south of Atlanta, take a romantic horse drawn carriage ride through the streets of Savannah. As far as tour operators, there are plenty to choose from. Buy Atlanta Tours is a good place to start for tours in and around the city and to help you make plans for additional Georgia Travel. |

| Moderator Jr Member | There are some great tour operators in Georgia who can help you make plans. I know that Tours by BJ, based in Savannah (or maybe close by) can lead tours of the Georgia and South Carolina coast. I've heard they're very nice. There's also the charmingly named Travel Gnome Vacations based in Cartersville. That's a cool town just north of Atlanta. It has a crazy amount of cool things to do, including the Booth Western Art Museum, the Etowah Indian Mounds, and the Tellus Science Museum. Not bad for a dinky town in the outer ring Atlanta suburbs.
