Default vacation

I am planning a trip to Georgia this summer any ideas on the beast places to go. Will probably KOA it, love the beach, shopping and fun for the family. Would appreciate any helpful suggestions.

All the beaches in Georgia are filled with variety of activities and offer fun and relaxation for every visitor. But the most popular beaches are located in Jekyll Island & St. Simons Island and they are the perfect spots for Georgia vacation during summer. I don't know about your plan and number of days you will spend in Georgia, so I suggest these 2 islands. My favourite place is Jekyll Island and visited twice, especially I like camping. You can find wide range of options for camping from tent sites to full hook-up with all the modern amenities including restrooms, bike rentals, pay phones and a full-service store with food, ice, etc., So if you like camping then Jekyll Island is a perfect choice.
St. Simon Island also has fabulous beaches and offers many things to do. If you like to have a quiet Georgia vacation, then St. Simon Island is a paradise for you. Here visit the Lighthouse Museum and climb to the top for the wondeful view of the Island! Whether you want to enjoy water sports, fishing, strolling, sunbath in the beach or whatever, the beaches in these 2 islands provide you all. As far as I know, for shopping, St. Simon Island is the best place and it has great range of shops to buy clothing, antiques, art, jewelry, shoes and gifts. There are many beachfront hotels available to stay in both these islands, so book in advance and have a nice Georgia vacation!

If you like the beach, Savannah is a good place to start. You're right near the Atlantic beaches. There is a KOA just south of there.
For shopping, Atlanta is the place in Georgia. Atlanta's Underground is always a family favorite for shopping.
Hope this helps!
