Hi there,

If you are planning to go to North Georgia, the Appalachian Mountains is one of the major tourist attractions there, and it is only about an hour’s drive from the city of Atlanta.

Northern Georgia gives you also plenty of opportunities for hiking, biking, and sightseeing many Native American sites.

If you are planning to stay in Savannah, some of the popular things to do there is touring sites such as the antebellum homes and historical and modern sites.

In Atlanta, you have the Georgia Aquarium and the Stone Mountain Park which are two of the favorite things to do for families.

Hope this helps

It all depends what you would like to do. The East Coast offers Tybee Beach, the North Georgia Mountains offers whitewater rafting, hiking, waterfalls, and beatiful scenic activities. Atlanta has a lot of city life and you can catch a Braves Game, see the Aquarium and other attractions. There are cotton farms and peanut farms to see also in other parts of GA. Georgia is known for the variety of things you can do.
