Using Die Bahn (Die Bahn [DB] - Startseite Reiseportal: Auskunft, Fahrkarten, OnlineTicket, Urlaubsideen), I'm getting about 81 Euros for a one way trip from Frankfurt to Munich with a travel time of about 3 hours. Hope this helps.

Yeah, for sure. You can get a German Rail Pass which allows you anywhere from 4-10 travel days in a month for one price, which sounds appropriate for you. They have single prices and twin prices if you've got someone going with you, and they have the option between first class is standard class. Give it a look. ETA: Wait, I may have misunderstood your question...are you looking for tickets that can be used in the Munich subway system? Or the "Underground Railway"? If so I might need to look further. I thought you were looking for multi-trips on the light rail. Last edited by joe; 04-05-2007 at 10:03 AM. Reason: i might be dumb

I assume the subway system is the same thing as the "underground railway" or the U-Bahn, so I wouldn't worry about that. Yeah, the thing is I don't know if U-Bahn tickets can also be used on normal, above ground tickets. Or if you can buy certain tickets that will let you do that. Your best bet is probably to just call the fine folks at Die Bahn [DB] - Startseite Reiseportal: Auskunft, Fahrkarten, OnlineTicket, Urlaubsideen. I'm sure they have english-speaking representatives. Sorry I can't be more help but this isn't really one of my better subjects.
