Traveling to Munich-Oktoberfest

Three friends and I are traveling to Munich for a few days during Oktoberfest. We are flying in to Berlin on October 3rd (staying overnight) then getting up early to go to Munich the next day. I would like some advice on:
1. What to do in Berlin? Where to stay.
2. Best way to get from Berlin to Munich
3. Where to stayin in Munich - especially since it is Oktoberfest!
4. Is it worth staying more than a day or so in Munich for Oktoberfest - we are headed to Prague for the majority of the trip.

ANY advice is apprecaited!!

1. What not to do in Berlin. The "East Side" is more trendy...more bars/dining/nightlife/sights, so it will also be a bit more expensive. Here's a good place to stay. Who knows if it's in your budget, but I stayed here on business once and I had zero complaints.

3. Here's a good spot to stay...it's a Sheraton and it's a good location when thinking of where the tents are...just a short walk. But it's already May so you will want to start calling now and trying to make reservations. If it's booked, be like George Costanza and start moving out in concentric circles. With all the drinking going on, you don't want to be driving and cabbing around can add up, $$$ wise.

4. While I'd be tempted to get to Prague as early as possible, I also think, it being Oktoberfest, that you'd have NO problem finding enough to do in Munich for more than just one day. So yeah...plan for a couple days in Munich.
