Munich day trip

we'd like to visit Munich while in Berlin but only plan to be there for the day..is that enough time to see all the attractions? any ideas?

Not sure how long you're staying in Berlin but if you coming all the way to Munich I'd suggest staying there at least 3 days! You can technically see all the main attractions but in a day you won't get a taste of what Munich is really about.

Saying this, the main attractions Karlsplatz, which is the city center of Munich, and it's an excellent place to start your day trip of Munich and book some tours. Don't miss here a visit to Marienplatz square, Glockenspiel and the Old Town Hall, and enjoying a traditional German meal in one of the restaurants.
