|  Things to do in Germany On behalf of my cousin, who will be in the area, I was wondering what German city would be best to visit for a day or two in order to really experience Germany (food, culture, general life). Most of his time will be in Spain but he's thinking he'll be in Germany for a day, maybe two. For the record he's 18, so a day spent entirely at museums would probably not be in his best interests ;) Thanks! |

| Re: Things to do in Germany Though I'm not quite the spry 18 year old I used to be, I've never had a bad time in Munich. Plus it's closer to Spain than cities like Hamburg and Berlin, if that makes a difference. Oktoberfest is obviously a huge draw, but if the timing's off, know that the music and fun seems to occur year round. |
