Germany

Germany has rich culture tradition and beautiful landscapes. The famous Oktoberfest can be experienced starting in September through October. For those traveling in the Christmas season, be sure to stop by Kris Kringle Mart. Only hours away from Munich are resorts in Germany and ski areas are best found at the Bavarian Alps.

Default Best way to Germany

Friends,I am in serious need of your suggestions about Germany. In next month I am going to Munich. Can anybody suggest me about cheap accommodation? I can't spend lavishly on my accommodation.I gathered some hotel names and their price rate.

Default Re: Best way to Germany

Few months before, we have stayed at the The Platzl hotel which is located in the center of all that we wanted to do and see. It is a big hotel, nicely decorated in the Bavarian style and the reception was quick and attentive. We got a nice room, spacious enough to feel very comfortable. Having friendly staff, small, quiet, cozy bar for a late night drink and a nice lobby. The breakfast was excellent.
This hotel is very close to all the historical sights like Marienplatz, Altes Rathaus, shops, and the airport. I definitely recommend this hotel to stay. Good value for the money.

If you go for little bit high then the Laimer Hof might be a good bet. I haven't actually stayed there myself, but when planning a meeting with international guests at my office, the secretary told me that it is a very nice and good hotel.

Have a nice trip!
