Germany has rich culture tradition and beautiful landscapes. The famous Oktoberfest can be experienced starting in September through October. For those traveling in the Christmas season, be sure to stop by Kris Kringle Mart. Only hours away from Munich are resorts in Germany and ski areas are best found at the Bavarian Alps.

ekavall Junior Member Join Date: Nov 2007 Location: Stockholm, Sweden Posts: 1	Winter vacation Swedish Skiing area Anyone interested in visiting the beautiful part in Sweden that I'm from? If so let me know... My parents have this big house with a great view that you can probably stay at for a reasonable price! The area is situated half way up Sweden towards the norwegian border....Look for the skiing resort Åre (this is the place where the Alpine world championships were held last winter) or the city of Östersund.... ciao!
