| 1. do most people their speak english 2.do i need a car to travel or is the subway sufficient. 3.are there any good places to shop for clothing. |

| Junior Member | Over 70% of Germans speak English fairly well. Rail infrastructure is well developed and efficient with connections to many airports and bus stations. Plenty of subways can also take you from place to place.A car may come in handy though when you want to travel at your leisure.. There are numerous areas to shop for clothes in any of the major cities. Railroad stations and airports are also very good places to find nice shops. |
