Hi there,

Be aware that Switzerland is a very expensive country and cheap hotel accommodations are hard to come by, unless you go the Hostel route. Having said this, I found some of the cheapest hotels in the town of Cointrin in Geneva.

These recommendations start from $90 so, it is best to check before you travel:

* The Trente Trois

* The Ramada Park Hotel Genève

Hope this helps

Hi jamesprx,

Where in Switzerland are you going? Even though it's small, it has countless amazing places to visit.

Davos is one of my favorites, i spent a week there about 2 weeks ago in winter. it's like a fairytale location, but not the cheapest place to go. maybe spend a night or 2 there to check it out.

in the south, closer to the italian border, things are way cheaper than near the german or french border. if your on a budget that may be worth considering :)

My favorite place in Europe is Istanbul, There are many night clubs, pubs, restaurants and taverns with live music in the city. The night clubs, restaurants and bars increase in number and move to open air spaces in the summer.
