So I am staying in Berlin for a week, but I wanna take a day trip to Auschwitz in Poland. How would I do that, and How much would it cost? The Cheaper the better

hi there,

The sleeper train will probably be the cheapest and it takes 11 hours to get to Krakow. It travels via Warsaw and it's eight hours in total between Berlin and Auschiwtz. On arrival at Krakow you then take a train or other transport to Auschwitcz which will take over an hour.

The sleeper train will set you off around $90. The bus trip from Krakow to the Auschwitcz camp will be around $10

Thank you for your help. Do you know what the picture taking stipulations are? Like, can I go and take any pictures with out getting in trouble?

Hiya,

As far as I know, you can take pictures of the surroundings but you'll be asked not to take pictures inside the buildings. The Holocaust is a sensitive issue, once you're in the camp just follow their instructions.

Down in Munich you can buy those Kinder Schoko Bons in virtually any supermarket.

I guess so! I read on the thread that you're off to the nazi camps. You'll sure be blown away by the camps, they're kind of creepy and spooky, i tell ya'!
