| German national rail operator Deutsche Bahn announced it was cancelling a number of train routes thanks to severe winds in the area, which, according to Chief Executive Hartmut Mehdorn, are "unprecedented." Much of this storm has blasted the rest of Western/Northern Europe, where it's being reported 44 people have been killed, one of which was an 18 month-old baby, who was killed by a door that was ripped off its hinges.
