Default Fira or Oia

Need help on deciding to choose Fira or Oia. In March, I and my girlfriend will be in Santorini for 5 nights, we are really having a hard time to take decision on spending our vacation whether in Fira or Oia. Can anyone help on this? We would like to be in a quiet area with wonderful views. So please help.

Default Re: Fira or Oia

Oia is situated only11 klm far from Fira. Fira is absolutely jam packed at all the time, busy and much commercialized place, only for nightlife. Personally I propose you Oia, the most nice and quiet village in santorini. It's a great place to get away, soak up the sun, and to enjoy delicious dining, shopping etc., Walking across the narrow street will take you to the town with the sea at one side and the high volcanic cliffs at the other, is a good experience, so you shouldn’t miss. Oia’s one of the most famous attractions is its view and the sunset, considered by many as one of the most beautiful in the world, keeps tourists flocking down to the castle, waiting for the moment when the sun slips down on the calm sea of the caldera. Don’t miss this. Access to Oia is possible by public buses and taxis are also available. Enjoy the beauty and peacefulness of Oia with its wonderful cafes and tavernas. Have a nice trip!!!
