|  Thessaloniki The youth hostel that everybody is talking about (tel ++30 2310 225 946) is closed for years. Is there an other hostel in Thessaloniki? I have seen "Backpackers Refuge" (tel ++30 6983433591) for 15 euros? Has anybody been there? What is it like? Is it really such a good value? Is there a cheaper option? thanks in advance |

| Re: Thessaloniki Hi there, Thessaloniki Hostel Backpackers Refuge is a small hostel and rooms are on the smaller side but it is clean and homely. Another option would be the Hotel Avra which is 7 miles away from Thessaloniki. The hotel offers AC, TV, telephone and kitchen. There are not many hostels in Thessaloniki for less than 10 EUR per night. Hope this helps VacationBuddy
