Santorini vacation

we are planning a Santorini vacation for next year and so far I hear good things about the place. However, some people say that the beaches tend to get a bit busy..do you know of any other beaches nearby Santorini which are less busy?

Vlihada beach is one of the best Santorini offerings and it is a relaxing alternative to the busier beaches, like Perissa.

Vlihada beach is renown for its black sand, which takes a bit of time to get used to, and it is unique to see where the beach quickly meets the light pumice-stone cliffs.

The dark sand does get relatively hot during the summer months, so be sure to bring a pair of flip-flops with you and make sure you have some sunblock on. The sun gets pretty hot here and you don't want to spend a couple of days on vacation with horrible sunburn.

Vlihada beach can be found along the route to other top Santorini beach locations. You can find some options for accommodations in Vlihada, and it makes a for a nice place to spend at least one night.

Kamari, Perissa and Perivolas are the busy beaches in Santorini. All others including Vlyhada, Amoudi Bay, Kolumbos, Monolithos, Bexedes... are the one you looking for. Most of them are virgin beaches, without any commercial contents.
