|  anyone been to El Mirador? we r planning a trip to Guatemala with one objective in mind...to visit El Mirador Guatemala. Now, is El Mirador as good as it's cracked up to be? do you think is best to visit it with a tour guide, and is there a particular time when El Mirador is best observed? |

|  Re: anyone been to El Mirador? No matter what you do please hire a tour guide. You can't do this trip by yourself especially without prior knowledge. Also, if you plan to visit El Mirador Guatemala, I'd highly recommended that you check ahead of time with a Guatemala tour company that can help you decide if the arduous trip is for you. By the way, the rainy season is generally from May to October, and a trip to El Mirador during this time will be difficulty and sometimes impossible. |
