During our trip to Maui, we'd like to make a stopover to Haleakala National Park, what is there to do and see there?

In Haleakala National Park, you will find a large volcano, which is the tallest point in Maui and hiking to the top to soak up the views it is why most people come to the park for.

If you don't fancy the hike to the top, you can always book a Maui helicopter tour as an alternative to explore Haleakala National Park.

However, you can also stay overnight at the Haleakala Park's Campgrounds, which is really worth doing if you want to explore all the attractions that the park has to offer, though be sure to head to the Visitor Center first and get a permit.
