Inter island car rentals

I am planning an upcoming 14 day honeymoon to Kauai and The Big Island and am planning to rent a car for the entire trip. I have heard that there can be deals and discounts to be found for "inter island" car rentals, which would mean that you would make a single reservation with one company for 2 weeks despite being on two separate islands. Therefore you wouldn't need to make two separate reservations and could save money for renting for an extended period of time. Do you know if deals like this exist or what rental company offers them?

I believe what you're looking for is the "fly/drive" packages. Many companies offer them and all with different arrangments, customizable to your trip. There may be some restrictions so be sure to check up on that. I've seen a few that have required at least two inter-island flights.

Simply type "Hawaii fly/drive packages" into any search engine and you'll find a variety of companies.

Budget Rental Car or Thrifty. I've used Thrifty on my trips to Hawaii and they seem to have the best rates.
