Hawaii or Carribean.. plss help

Hey all. Me and my husband plan for a vacation, in early may. We want to go to places where there are beautiful beaches. The activities we enjoy is water sports, partying and lots of private time in beach. So we are looking for a place where there are beaches not that crowded as well as beaches where its fun partying (not overcrowded). We don't want our trip to be too expensive or luxurous, but should be comfortable enough.

I am confused between Hawaii and carribean/bahamas. I know all of us are crazy about hawaii but if someone can help me choose between the two, it would be great. Also, if hawaii, which particular island to be covered in a 7-8 day trip.will it be sensible to cover two islands or more. Any help will be great.

I wouldn't recommend more than one island in Hawaii unless your just looking for a taste of the Islands.
Maui has many great beaches, restaurants, things to do and see.
Kauai is considered the nature island. The Nai Pali Coast is amazing.
Oahu is pretty touristy but generally cheaper. You could see Pearl Harbor and visit the North Shore.
Big Island - check out the volcano its active right now..

Where do you live? I would consider flight times and travel costs since getting to Hawaii from the East coast of the US takes alot more work for a 7 day trip.
I would look into the Caribbean Islands or Bahamas in that case.
