Hawaii

Hawaii is made up of many islands and is frequented by many around the world. The popular Waikiki area has everything from hotels, Waikiki Beach, and shopping. Conveniently, inter-island flights are quick and easy. Visit Maui and make a stop at the Haleakala Crater, providing incredible hiking trails or head over to the Big Island and experience the Big Island Helicopter Tour.

Default Welcome to Hawaii

Sadly, you're probably not really there, but if you were thinking of making a trip soon, feel free to discuss the beautiful state and its many islands right here. And if you've been there before and taken it all in, inform those who haven't of what to expect and what to do. I myself have only been there once...for about ten days...about ten years ago, but it was a great time!

Hawaii is awesome! I went there and totally soaked up the sun, chilled by the beach and got my rays on! Nothing is better than Hawaii, no debating!

I'd have to agree! Hawai'i is great! Though, I'm a bit bias....I spent a good chunk of my life there. I grew up on Oahu. So if you have any questions I'll do my best to answer them. *Aloha*

How about Maui? I heard there was some bike trips down a mountain. We are getting married on Maui in October and I'm looking for some good guy things to do, pre-wedding of course...

Any recommedations? Here's my list so far:

Mountain Bike Riding
Surfing a Maui Wave
Diving in Maui.

Well, I've heard that the Haleakala Downhill is pretty intense. Not sure if you've looked into it but it's biking down a volcano. Definitely affordable, but not for a beginner. Reservations are highly recommended as it is popular. So check with the company here for more information.

I'm not quite sure what "good guy things to do" is. If you mean in terms of bachelor, I would definitely keep with the outdoor enthusiast route.

If you meant, group activities, including everyone. Maybe you can include whale watching to your list. Or to experience a bit more cultural town, check out Paniolo Country. It's near by Haleakala.

Hope that helped!

I'm sorry, a bunch of guys don't wanna go whale-watching in Hawaii during a "bachelor party." They wanna 1) drink, 2) see some things their gf's wouldn't want them to see, and/or 3) do something adventurous. So while I bag on the whale watching idea, I endorse the "Bike Down a Volcano" idea, which fits the 3rd criteria. I don't endorse doing criteria #1 before #3 though. Afterwards would be perfect...maybe with a little #2 thrown in for good measure.
