|  best time to travel to Honduras is there such a thing as an ideal time to travel to Honduras? does the country get hurricanes, big storms or stuff like that? where in the country would recommend basing a vacation? |

| Re: best time to travel to Honduras Honduras doesn't get hurricanes, though there is such a thing as an ideal time to travel here. The ideal time to travel to Honduras in my opinion is in late winter or early spring as the weather will be warm and dry. If you travel in the peak season, you will find large crowds of tourists, everything will be more expensive and the weather will hot and humid! Where to go for a vacation? Basically, anywhere along the coast or near the montains is always best because of the nice cool weather. Further inland, in San Pedro Sula for example, temperatures are always hotter and more humid. |
