day trip to Boise

hey folks!

we are traveling with the family next month to Idaho and staying in Idaho Falls..we're deciding that we want to take a few day trips like a day trip to Boise. What things are there to see there?

hi there,

One fun thing to do in Boise on a day trip it's to explore downtown Boise along the River Greenbelt, and then enjoy a picnic along the way.

You can also take a tour of the Old Idaho Penitentiary which lasts around hour and half, and gives you a fascinating insight.

Also, consider renting a raft and enjoy a ride along the quite sections of River Boise. For instance, you can take a trip from Barber Park in the north to Ann Morrison Park in the south which takes about 3 hours.
