| Hi there, The Minnetonka Cave is located near the town of Montpelier in the Caribou National Forest. It is the largest cave in the state of Idaho that offers tours throughout most of the year. The Minnetonka Cave is popular amongst tourists because of the limestone deposits which have formed stalactites and stalagmites over thousands of thousands of years. If you are planning to tour the the Minnetonka Caves be aware that the tour requires climbing a set of stairs so, it is not suitable for handicap people. It is also cold and wet inside the cave so it is advised to bring along warm clothes and rain coats with you. Hope this helps VacationBuddy
