hey guys, does anyone know if the Golden Temple is open to visitors, or not? if so, is there any restrictions and what is there to see there?

Yes, the Golden Temple is open to visitors, and like all sacred sites, there restrictions such as you're not allowed to drink alcohol, eat meat or smoke in the shrine.

I've been to the Taj Mahal, and I can tell you that the Golden Temple was one of the places I enjoyed the most in India, and you'll feel truly welcomed whether you're a Sikh or not.

There is a museum at the main entrance, which display images and remembrances of Sikh gurus, warriors, and saints.

Another thing, before I forget, is that you must leave your shoes at the entrance, cover your head, and wash your feet by wading through the shallow pool before entering.
