|  India tourist seasons if you plan to travel to Calcutta or the area around it then visit from October to March. Otherwise, be prepared for hot weather during the day and rather humid weather any other time. The Monsoon season is at its peak between June and August so if you want to go to India, then travel between October and May to avoid it. Overall, the low season falls between April and September. |

| Re: when to go to India Kerala is beautiful state in India and this god's own land will be in full radiance just after the monsoon. You can see a greenish heaven by enjoying a travel to here. Journey by house boats on vast backwaters or a travel through misty mountains in Munnar or you can participate in celebrations related to Onam festival, boat races etc etc vast possibilities. |

| Re: when to go to India depends on where do you want to go... winter is pleasant in the plains but may be too cold in the hill stations... the rainy season is a headache in the congested cities but it has a certain charm especially if you visit the north eastern parts... |

| Re: when to go to India In northern India I think its good to visit India between mid october to December first week and Feb. start to mid March. In southern India you will the heat all the time(except some time between dec. mid to Jan mid) but Weather in Bangalore is always pleasant. |

| Re: when to go to India Best time to visit India is from Nov to feb if you love winter climate. Visit shimla, Manali, Srinagar, Rohtangpass, Kerala between nov to feb. The whether is pleasant in march and April and you can visit anywhere in India. If you love rain and want to enjoy the vacations, then Mansoon season is best time(June to August. However, India has a vast climatic diversity so don't think about the time to visit. There are so many nice destination in India to visit.
